DESCRIPTION
The Whitish Truffle, or more commonly Bianchetto, is distinguished from the White Piedmont Truffle for the characteristic colour and the inferior dimensions. It generally has an irregular shape, with a smooth orange surface that tends to rust in colour. On the inside it has a white gleba with brownish nuances and ivory veins.

From mid-January to mid-April.

Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Campania, Molise.
SYMBIOTIC PLANTS
Pine Tree, Cedar Tree, Downy Oak Tree, Turkey Oak Tree, Poplar Tree, Weeping Willow Tree.
STORAGE MODE
The Whitish, or Bianchetto, Truffle must be kept in the refrigerator individually wrapped in absorbent paper. It will then be necessary to change the paper to prevent mould. In this way, it will be possible to preserve the Whitish Truffle for no more than 5 days.
